 The F-15E Strike Eagle, a variant of the F-15 fighter family, excels as a versatile, dual-role aircraft (Air Force, 2019). It is designed for both air-to-air combat and precision air-to-ground strikes, making it a highly capable and adaptable fighter (Air Force, 2019). Since their merger, Boeing has replaced McDonnell Douglas as the fighter's manufacturer (Owen, 2023). We have decided to focus our research on the wings, including but not limited to its design, functions and features. The cropped delta wings are swept back at 45 degrees, which contributes to the fighter's flight and combat abilities (Zorro, 2017). It lacks leading-edge flaps, while the trailing edge is equipped with ailerons and a basic high-lift flap (Zorro, 2017). Due to these reasons, the plane has a low wing loading which gives it excellent maneuverability without compromising speed (Zorro, 2017). Self-Introduction  Good day Professor Blackstone, My name is Khant, and I am a freshman attending your critical thinking and communicating module. I had thoroughly enjoyed my time at Ngee Ann Polytechnic and graduated with a diploma in mechanical engineering. This was one of the reasons that led me to further pursue mechanical engineering in SIT. I was initially fascinated by the hardware side of engineering and my love for software developed afterwards. When I first moved to Singapore, my young self was in awe of the concrete jungle that I would call home. My programming class in my first year of polytechnic sparked my passion for programming, showing me that the sky was the limit. Thus, I chose mechanical engineering as it combined both subfields.  After looking through the various questions, this quote intrigues me the most as it personally affects me. There are two points that I will be elaborating on, one being communication in schools, workplaces and the other being our current society.  The entirety of engineering requires the use of communication to function. Similar to machines and AI, effective communication makes or breaks our ability to achieve our goals Students, teachers, and colleagues alike communicate to facilitate the dissemination of information, ideas and feedback. Charisma sets a person apart from the rest and serves as a steppingstone for further opportunities and career advancement.
